The land now known as Glen Crossing was acquired from the esteemed Glendenning Family, whose roots trace back to Scotland before they settled in Texas in 1887. Tom Glendenning, alongside his son Don, cultivated this land in Celina, establishing a legacy that endures today. The name Rex Glendenning is synonymous with the town’s history and pride.

Spanning three generations of Glendenning ownership, this 119-acre property inspired the name “Glen Crossing” as a tribute to the family’s enduring contributions to Celina and Collin County. Rex Glendenning, a local icon, still resides just across the street, and the Longhorns grazing along the community’s edges are a living testament to his presence and the family’s deep connection to this land.

Glen Crossing is proudly guided by a dedicated Board of Directors, composed of five passionate residents who are deeply committed to serving our community. Elected by their fellow residents, these individuals work diligently to ensure the homeowners’ association operates seamlessly and effectively, fostering a vibrant and well-maintained neighborhood.
